River Friends began with a small circle of Dutch colleagues in Basel. Today, it brings together around 180 people from across the river community, including cruise and cargo operators, charter companies, authorities, catering partners, agencies, and associations.
The most important part is not exchanging business cards. It is building genuine connections through conversations that feel natural, generous, and worthwhile. Conversations that inspire new ideas, strengthen relationships, and celebrate the people, stories, and spirit of the river.
